The dose of Diosmin is 2 times/day for either use, because Diosmin can treat different kinds of diseases. When used to treat symptoms caused by venous lymphatic reflux insufficiency, such as heavy, painful, sore and uncomfortable legs, a smaller dose is generally used but takes longer. If used to treat acute attacks of hemorrhoids, the dose is generally higher for the first few days and it is recommended to follow the doctor’s instructions or refer to the instruction manual and take it orally with both lunch and dinner. Diosmin requires attention to sometimes mild gastrointestinal reactions and vegetative dysfunction, but this does not usually require discontinuation of the drug.
