Colposcopy on hsil suggests high-grade squamous intraepithelial neoplasia of the cervix. High-grade squamous intraepithelial neoplasia of the cervix, also known as cervical precancerous lesions of grade II to III, belongs to the more serious type of cervical precancerous lesions with cancerous potential, so it must be actively treated. Once colposcopy suggests hsil then further cervical LEEP or cervical cold knife conization surgery is required to further determine the stage of disease development and disease type. If there is a combination of cervical human papillomavirus (HPV) infection, treatment with interferon or other agents is required. For patients whose colposcopy suggests hsil, it is recommended that they go to the gynecology department of a regular hospital for consultation and active treatment under the guidance of a doctor, so as to prevent the disease from continuing to develop into cervical cancer, which affects women’s quality of life.
