How soon can you wear high heels with a herniated disk

High heels are not recommended for patients with lumbar disc herniation. Lumbar disc herniation is a common cause of lumbar pain and low back pain, mainly due to the degeneration of lumbar intervertebral discs, partial or total rupture of the annulus fibrosus, nucleus pulposus protrudes to irritate or oppress the nerve root, cauda equina caused by a syndrome. The main manifestations are lumbar pain, sciatica and other symptoms. In daily life, we should avoid bad standing or sitting posture, strengthen the lumbar and back muscles exercise. The same posture should not be maintained for too long, appropriate in situ activities or low back activities, can lift the neck and low back muscle fatigue. When wearing high-heeled shoes, the body will lean forward, increasing the load on the lumbar back muscles, which can induce or aggravate lumbar disc herniation. Patients with lumbar disc herniation are advised to wear flat shoes on weekdays to avoid aggravating the condition.
