This formula is commonly used in treating blood paralysis, with numbness of skin and body, slight malignant wind-cold, pale tongue, slightly astringent and tight pulse as the main points of identification; it can also be used for hemiplegia (one side of limb cannot move freely), limb disuse, or hemiplegia with sweating, muscle emaciation, shortness of breath and fatigue; and it can be used for post-partum and postmenstrual body pain.
