Esophageal hiatal hernia

In a normal person, the lower end of the esophagus and the fundus of the stomach are located under the diaphragm. If the lower end of the esophagus and the fundus of the stomach enter the thoracic cavity through a fissure in the diaphragm next to the esophagus, it is called an esophageal hiatal hernia.       Clinical symptoms: 1. belching, acid reflux, vomiting, heartburn. 2. panic, chest tightness, shortness of breath, breath-holding. Treatment: The hernia will not automatically become smaller, let alone disappear. Oral medication can temporarily relieve the symptoms, and surgery is the only treatment method. Laparoscopic esophageal hiatal hernia repair is the best choice.
