What is the key to improving the prognosis of rheumatoid arthritis?

Rheumatoid arthritis is a chronic, progressive, aggressive disease with significant prevalence and mortality rates. Long-term observations have found that approximately 50% of patients with rheumatoid arthritis are unable to work due to disability 10 years after the onset of the disease. It was found that most patients develop bone invasion in the 1st and 2nd year of disease onset and that the rate of this radiological damage can be significantly improved by early treatment. The key to improving the prognosis of rheumatoid arthritis is: 1. early diagnosis. 2.Early application of disease-relieving antirheumatic drugs. 3. Strive to achieve remission in all patients. 4.Recognize and treat comorbidities. 5. Cooperation and communication between rheumatologists and general internists and primary care physicians.
