There are some contraindications to the use of estradiol valerate tablets, firstly, they should not be used in women who are pregnant or breastfeeding. Secondly, undiagnosed vaginal bleeding, as well as patients with known or suspected breast cancer and known or suspected precancerous or malignant tumors affected by sex hormones. This drug should also not be used if the patient has a current or prior history of liver tumors, as well as in patients with severe liver disease. This drug is also contraindicated in patients suffering from acute arterial thromboembolism, such as myocardial infarction, or stroke. It is also contraindicated in patients with thrombotic diseases, such as active deep vein thrombosis, thromboembolic diseases, and patients with high risk factors for thrombosis. In addition, this drug is not recommended for patients with severe hypertriglyceridemia.
