Multiple lung nodules are a symptom of a condition in the lungs that is mostly benign. This is because the likelihood of multiple tumors growing in the lungs at the same time is low.
Multiple lung nodules are characterized by the presence of at least 2 or more nodules on the lungs. Such multiple nodules are commonly seen in diseases such as inflammation of the lungs, hemorrhage, and tuberculosis, as well as fungal infections, inflammatory pseudotumors, tuberculosis balls, or parasitic diseases of the lungs. None of these diseases are particularly serious, are not malignant, and most of the multiple pulmonary nodules caused are benign nodules.
In addition, multiple pulmonary nodules have a regular and distinctive feature, the more the multiple nodules are concentrated in a particular lobe of the lung, the greater the likelihood of benign nodules, and the likelihood of multiple malignant tumors growing in the lungs at the same time is relatively low.
Even if the multiple lung nodules are benign, patients should insist on regular checkups in the hospital to observe the changes in the lung nodules. Daily diet should also pay attention to, avoid smoking and alcohol, keep a light diet, do not eat spicy or stimulating food.
