Does rosmarinic acid treat folliculitis?

Roxithromycin belongs to macrolide antibiotics, its antibacterial spectrum is similar to that of erythromycin, it has antibacterial effect on Gram-positive bacteria and mycoplasma and chlamydia, it is well absorbed orally, it can be used to treat soft tissue infections of the skin such as folliculitis. The common dose for adults is 150mg per dose, twice daily; for children, the dose is 2.5-5mg per kg body weight, twice daily. The main adverse reactions are abdominal pain, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting and other gastrointestinal reactions, which can be taken after meals to alleviate the adverse reactions, and also occasional rash and itching of the skin. Some patients may experience abnormal liver function and elevated transaminases, and should be used with caution in patients with hepatic insufficiency. It may also be used with caution in pregnant and lactating women. When treating skin folliculitis, it can be used in combination with other topical medications, such as fusidic acid cream and mupirocin ointment.
