What’s an abnormal fever?

A fever is when the body temperature exceeds the normal range, so a fever is an abnormal condition no matter what the degree is. The normal body temperature for the average person is between 36-37°C in the armpit. An axillary temperature of 37.3-38°C is a low fever, 38.1-39°C is a moderate fever, 39.1-41°C is a high fever, and over 41°C is a very high fever. Low and moderate fever can be seen in some colds, or in common infections such as urinary tract infections. It can also be seen in leukemia or tuberculosis patients can also have long-term recurrence of low and moderate fever. High fever and ultra-high fever are often seen in severe infections, such as sepsis. Or patients with intracranial injuries may also have ultrahigh fever due to abnormalities in the central thermoregulation point.
