Nasal septal polyps can be treated with minimally invasive surgery.
Nasal polyps are benign swellings that form when the proliferating nasal mucosa expands and protrudes from the nasal passages into the nasal cavity, or less commonly, when they occur in the nasal septum. When they occur in the nasal septum, they are called nasal septal polyps, which are less common. Nasal septal polyps often cause nasal congestion, runny nose, and decreased sense of smell.
Most multiple and recurrent septal polyps require surgical treatment. Currently, surgical methods are rapidly developing and are mostly minimally invasive. You can choose minimally invasive nasal endoscopic surgery, which involves removing the polyp from the nasal septum under the supervision of a nasal endoscope and an electronic screen and correcting nasal anatomical abnormalities such as septal deviation caused by the polyp.
If a septal polyp is diagnosed, it is recommended that standardized treatment be performed as soon as possible under the guidance of a physician.
