Is a cold a detox?

A cold is not a detoxification. Usually a cold is caused by a viral infection due to a decrease in the body’s resistance. A cold can cause a low fever, cough, phlegm, runny nose, loss of appetite, headache, dizziness and a series of other systemic symptoms on the patient’s body, which need to be treated according to the severity of the cold. Mild colds can be treated with oral anti-inflammatory drugs, and for patients with severe colds, they need to be treated by intravenous injection, which is faster and more effective. Adults will catch a cold 1-2 times a year, which is a normal phenomenon and can be cured in about a week. For people with weak resistance, you can usually eat more food with high vitamin C content and do physical exercise appropriately to enhance body resistance and reduce the number of colds and fevers.
