How to tell if you’re fertile or infertile

The differentiation between infertility and fertility can be made by doctor’s examination, semen examination, imaging examination and chromosome examination.
1. Physician’s examination: If infertility is caused by malformation or abnormality of the scrotum, testicles or vas deferens, physical examination can be used to assist in the diagnosis.
2. Semen examination: oligozoospermia, azoospermia, weak spermatozoa, etc. may lead to male infertility, so semen examination can assist in judgment.
3. Imaging examination: If male infertility is caused by structural abnormality of testis, spermatic cord, epididymis and vas deferens, ultrasound examination can be used for judgment.
4. Chromosome analysis: Some male infertility may be due to chromosomal abnormalities such as XYY syndrome and Y chromosome deficiency, in which case chromosome analysis is needed.
If symptoms of infertility appear, you should seek medical examination in time so as to identify infertility and fertility.
