There is no such thing as multiple myeloma being more serious than leukemia because both diseases are more serious. 1. Multiple myeloma is a malignant proliferative disease characterized by massive proliferation of monoclonal plasma cells in bone marrow. The main manifestations are bone pain, renal function impairment, anemia, hypercalcemia and infection. Most patients have low back pain as the first symptom. Multiple myeloma is divided into symptomatic and asymptomatic. (1) Asymptomatic patients have stable condition and can be observed without special treatment. (2) Symptomatic patients can be divided into three phases according to traditional staging and international staging. Phase I hemoglobin amount >100g/L, no abnormality in bone x-ray radiographs, not serious, phase II and phase III hemoglobin amount decreases, osteolytic foci increase, and the condition gradually aggravates. 2. Leukemia is a kind of malignant clonal disease of hematopoietic stem cells. Leukemia cells proliferate and accumulate in large quantities, which is mainly manifested as inhibition of normal hematopoiesis and infiltration of other organs and tissues. Normal bone marrow is severely suppressed, resulting in anemia, bleeding and infection. When infiltrating other tissues and organs, it leads to impaired tissue and organ function and aggravates the disease. The name of the disease alone cannot accurately determine which one is serious, it should be judged specifically according to the clinical manifestations and staging of the disease, and the specific diagnosis and treatment should be carried out under the guidance of physicians.
