Fever with foreign body sensation in the throat may be related to acute pharyngitis, acute tonsillitis, acute epiglottitis and other diseases, and the symptoms of different diseases are different.
1. Acute pharyngitis: acute inflammation of the pharyngeal mucosa and submucosal tissues caused by viral and bacterial infections. 2. Acute tonsillitis: often caused by B hemolytic streptococcus infection. The onset of the disease is rapid and may be accompanied by chills and high fever. It usually lasts for 3 to 5 days, accompanied by headache, poor appetite, fatigue, back and limb pain. There may be constipation.
3. Acute epiglottitis: related to infection, allergy and adverse stimuli. Most patients have severe sore throat, which is aggravated by swallowing, and in severe cases, it is difficult to swallow even saliva, i.e. there is a foreign body sensation in the throat. Systemic symptoms start rapidly, with chills and fever, body temperature is mostly 38-39 ℃, such as the elderly or children, the symptoms are more serious, can be manifested as mental depression, pale.
