Low lymphocyte count should be differentiated into two main types of diseases: First, if the patient is suffering from low percentage of lymphocyte count due to low white blood cells in the whole blood picture, application of leukostatic drugs or lymphocyte-raising drugs can treat low lymphocyte count. Second, if the patient’s lymphocyte count is low because of high neutrophils or because of infection, you can try to apply antibacterial and anti-inflammatory drugs such as cephalosporin, which can alleviate the low lymphocyte count.
