Cupping is a traditional form of treatment, referring to the method of flash fire, generally through the discharge of the air inside the tank, so that the tank is in a negative pressure state, in order to adsorb on the patient’s skin. This method can be used to activate blood circulation and remove blood stasis, move qi to relieve pain (by regulating the body’s qi to relieve pain), and dissipate cold and dampness.
If after cupping around the navel, there is a darker color and black performance of the can mark, it means that the patient’s blood stasis, cold condensation, water-dampness and other diseases and evils have accumulated more here, through cupping, and play the role of eliminating evil.
When performing cupping, one should avoid places with more hair, unevenness and broken ulcers. If patients need cupping treatment, they should do it under the guidance of a doctor and should not do it without authorization.
