Allergic rhinitis in children usually cannot be cured on its own, and should be treated with anti-allergy medication under a doctor’s supervision when symptoms occur. Allergies are related to body type, and generally speaking, children whose parents are allergic are also prone to allergies. If a child suffers from allergic rhinitis, then the child will have nasal congestion, sneezing, runny nose and other symptoms of nasal irritation after exposure to a certain allergen. Symptoms will be alleviated for a period of time after moving away from the allergen, but the symptoms will still appear when exposed again. Allergic rhinitis in children is very common and most of them cannot be cured by themselves, so when parents suspect that their children are suffering from allergic rhinitis, they should take their children to the hospital for allergen testing and avoid contact with allergens in their daily life.
