Pseudohypertrophic muscular dystrophy is a hereditary disease, so far there is no specific treatment, only symptomatic treatment and supportive therapy. Patients with pseudohypertrophic muscular dystrophy have muscle weakness and should be given increased nutrition and appropriate functional limb exercises; some patients may have spinal deformities and joint contractures, which can be treated with physiotherapy or orthopedic therapy to maintain basic activities. Patients should also be encouraged to actively engage in daily activities and avoid bed rest. Some nutritional drugs can be used for nutritional nerve treatment, such as energy combinations, vitamin E, and myosin injection. Currently with the development of medicine, gene therapy and stem cell transplantation therapy may be expected to become effective treatments.
