How often is ground glass 6mm usually reviewed

The presence of a 6mm ground glass nodule in the lungs usually requires a review of the chest CT and other tests after 3 months.
For ground glass nodules in the lungs, it is recommended to be treated accordingly under the supervision of a doctor. After 3 months of treatment, a follow-up chest CT is needed to evaluate the condition of the lung nodule.
If the ground-glass nodules are found to have disappeared, no further treatment is needed.
However, if the ground-glass nodules are found to persist, chest CT should be repeated in 6-12 months. once there is a significant increase in the diameter of the nodule or signs of increased realism, lobulation of the nodule, peripheral burrs, and pulling of the pleura, the possibility of lung cancer should be guarded against. In this case, puncture pathology biopsy may be required and further treatment, such as surgery, should be carried out under the guidance of the doctor.
