Green beans may cause flatulence.
Mung beans are a common ingredient commonly used in China, which can be cooked directly or processed into a variety of mung bean products. Mung beans contain protein, starch and a variety of vitamins and minerals, which are beneficial to human health when consumed in moderation, but if consumed frequently or eaten too much, it may cause flatulence.
Mung beans contain more oligosaccharides, after consumption into the digestive tract, oligosaccharides in the digestion of the need for α-galactosidase for decomposition. The alpha-galactosidase enzyme in the human digestive tract is relatively small, so it is not possible to fully absorb and utilize the oligosaccharides in a large amount of mung beans.
When the oligosaccharides in mung beans enter the intestines from the stomach, they will be utilized by the bacteria in the intestines to break down, generating a large amount of gas in the process and causing abdominal distension.
