How to use a fetal heart monitor

Fetal heart monitors usually have two probes, one to detect the fetal heart and is placed in the area where the fetal heart is evident. The other probes contractions and is placed at the bottom of the uterus. When the pregnant woman feels fetal movement, she can press a button to record a fetal movement. Usually the fetal heart monitor has a detailed instruction manual that the pregnant woman and her family can follow to monitor the fetal heart.
