The hip bone is clinically known as the hip bone. Possible causes of pain in the right hip bone area and right leg include: ankylosing spondylitis, lumbar disc herniation, and femoral head necrosis. 1. Ankylosing spondylitis: Ankylosing spondylitis is a kind of spinal arthritis related to autoimmunity, mostly starting from sacroiliac joints, and gradually spreading downward to cause inflammation of hip joints and even knee joints. The main manifestation is discomfort or pain in the lumbosacral region, and patients with arthritis in the lower limbs as the first manifestation will have leg pain. 2. Herniated lumbar intervertebral disc: When the lumbar intervertebral disc herniation compresses the lumbar nerve root, it can cause radiating pain in the buttocks, posterior lateral thigh and lateral calf nerves, accompanied by abnormal sensation in the lower limbs and weakness in activities. 3. Necrosis of the femoral head: Necrosis of the femoral head is ischemic necrosis of the femoral head caused by various reasons, and at the initial stage, it mainly manifests as pain in the buttocks, thigh root or groin area, and occasionally knee pain. As the disease progresses, the pain gradually intensifies, accompanied by hip joint mobility disorders. Patients with right hip and right lower limb pain are advised to go to the hospital as soon as possible to find out the cause of the disease and treat it accordingly.
