Eusemide is an oral contraceptive pill, a compound preparation, the main ingredients of which include ethinyl estradiol and drospirenone, and must be used according to the instructions or the dosage and administration recommended by the doctor. If there is a missed dose or incorrect method of administration, the rate of contraceptive failure will increase. It is generally recommended that patients begin taking the pill on the first day of menstruation, or on days 2-5, but it is recommended that the barrier method of contraception be added during the first cycle, the first seven days of the first box of pills, after which one pill should be taken at approximately the same time each day for 21 days in the order indicated on the package, followed by a seven-day discontinuation of the pill and the start of the next box on the eighth day of discontinuation. The next box should be taken on the eighth day of discontinuation. Therefore, patients must take the medication exactly according to the instructions, or the method recommended by the doctor, in order to make it more effective.
