Vestibular dysplasia in children is now generally used to stimulate vestibular development through vestibular function training.
Vestibular dysplasia refers to a malfunction of the vestibular receptors in the ear, which can be characterized by sleep disorders, crying, refusal to eat, backward growth and development, and in older children, dizziness, vomiting, lack of concentration, unsteady walking, and hearing loss.
At present, there is no drug or surgery that can definitively treat children with vestibular dysplasia, the main use of vestibular function training. Children need to go to a regular hospital for systematic vestibular training to stimulate the development of vestibular function.
