The most common creams to get rid of melanin are hydroquinone cream, or azelaic acid cream and so on. But for melanin formation, it needs to be treated differently. If it is a post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, generally do not need any drugs to treat, most of the gradual fading, with the passage of time, some will gradually ease, melanin will be through the skin’s own metabolism gradually decomposed away. However, if other types of melanin deposits are caused, such as melanosis, etc., hydroquinone cream can be used appropriately to slow down the symptoms of blackness. For melasma or other causes of prolonged epidermal melanosis, hydroquinone cream, or azelaic acid cream can be used. However, if the melanin is caused by congenital factors, such as nevus melanosus and so on, it is not possible to use the cream to treat it.
