Nasal polyps can be determined by symptoms, nasal endoscopy, CT, and pathologic biopsy.
1. Symptoms: Nasal polyps patients often have progressively aggravated nasal congestion, runny nose, decreased sense of smell, tinnitus, hearing loss, nasal dorsum widening and other manifestations for preliminary judgment.
2. Nasal endoscopy: Nasal endoscopy can find one or more swellings in the nasal cavity, which are translucent and lychee-like with mucous or purulent secretion.
3. CT: CT can observe the shadow of soft tissue mass in the nasal cavity and sinuses.
4. Pathologic biopsy: Pathologic biopsy of the lychee flesh-like neoplasm under nasal endoscopy can clarify the nature of the mass.
If the above symptoms of nasal congestion, runny nose, loss of smell, etc. occur, you can consult a doctor for further examination to clarify the cause of the disease and determine whether there are nasal polyps.
