Adenomyosis refers to adenomyosis of the uterus, which is categorized as “dysmenorrhea” and “obstruction in the abdomen” in Chinese medicine according to its clinical manifestations. Warming Menstruation Soup can treat patients who are identified as suffering from coldness, coagulation of blood and blood stasis.

It can treat disorders caused by coldness in the Chong Ren Chakra (deficiency of yang qi that cannot warm the Chong Ren Chakra and Ren Ren Chakra), internal obstruction of stagnant blood, such as metrorrhagia (excessive menstrual flow or dripping of menstruation), menstrual irregularities, pain in the abdomen, and infertility caused by coldness in the uterus of a woman.
The adverse effects of this formula are not known; it is contraindicated in pregnant women; and should not be used during colds.
Dysmenorrhea can also be caused by Qi stagnation and blood stasis, damp-heat stasis, Qi deficiency and blood stasis, phlegm and stagnation, etc. Among them, dysmenorrhea caused by cold stagnation and blood stasis can be treated with Warm Menstruation Soup to dissipate the cold and dispel the stasis.
