Pain is an unpleasant reaction of the body to an injured tissue or potential injury, a complex physiological and psychological activity, and one of the most common clinical symptoms. Pain as a condition has been recognized by the World Congress on Pain as the “5th most important sign of human life” after respiration, pulse, temperature and blood pressure. Pain is a common pathophysiological phenomenon that has not received much attention from the medical sector and the public for a long time, and many painful diseases have not received timely and effective treatment. Currently, about 40% of the country’s population suffers from chronic pain, and 90% of the patients are not treated and do not know which department to go to for treatment. People usually think that pain is a symptom, not a disease, in fact, most chronic pain is not only a symptom, some chronic pain itself is a disease, cure the pain, the disease will also be cured. Some of these pain patients do not get the correct diagnosis and have to be treated in other departments for a long time, wasting a lot of human and financial resources and having to suffer from the pain for a long time. Although the diagnosis of some pain is clear, but due to the limitations of treatment methods and concepts, patients do not receive timely and effective treatment, resulting in many evolving into chronic pain diseases, increasing the difficulty of treatment, causing serious impact on patients, families, society and social productivity. With the improvement of living standards, social structure, and changes in lifestyle, pain disorders have attracted more and more attention.
