There are many ways to check whether the fallopian tubes are open or not, such as tubal fluid test, hysterosalpingography, combined hysterolaparoscopic tubal fluid test and so on. Consult your doctor for specific ways.
1. Tubal fluids, that is, the catheter is put into the uterine cavity through the vagina, and then drugs are injected through the catheter, according to the size of the resistance to injection, whether there is reflux, the amount of injected fluids, and the patient’s feeling to determine whether the tubes are smooth or not, this method also has a certain therapeutic effect on the minor tubal adhesion, but there is a certain error.
2. Hysterosalpingography
(1) X-ray hysterosalpingography is to inject contrast medium into the uterine cavity and fallopian tubes through catheter, and then X-ray fluoroscopy and filming will be performed to know whether the fallopian tubes are open or not, as well as the obstruction site and the shape of the uterine cavity according to the contrast medium in the uterine cavity, fallopian tubes and pelvic cavity.
(2) Ultrasound hysterosalpingography, under the monitoring of ultrasound, real-time observation of the flow and distribution of contrast medium, which is clear, non-invasive, fast metabolism of contrast medium, and can determine whether the fallopian tubes are blocked or not as well as the location of the blockage.
3. Hystero-Laparoscopic Tubal Fluidization Examination, insert the puncture device through the umbilical incision, insert the laparoscope with cold light source into the abdominal cavity, and at the same time, perform the hysteroscopic examination, insert the tube in the uterine cavity, push the medicine, observe whether there is adhesion and obstruction of the fallopian tubes under the laparoscopy, which is the gold standard for judging the degree of tubal patency.
Checking whether the fallopian tube is patent should be 3~7 days after the menstrual period is clean, no sex before the check, pay attention to local cleanliness.
