What to do if you have boils on your face

Boils on the face can appear less follicular inflammatory papules and painful if the rash is scattered, in which case it can be treated symptomatically with oral minocycline hydrochloride capsules or application of dicloxacillin dry suspension. If the pain is more pronounced, patients can apply fusidic acid cream for anti-inflammatory and antibacterial treatment. If the boils appear to be widely distributed and have more hard nodules, the regimen of static clindamycin phosphate injection can be applied, together with red and blue light and pulsed laser irradiation to promote the inflammation to subside.
