Strabismus eye test

To test for strabismus, the main tests done today are corneal reflectometry, alternate masking test, masking de-masking test, trismus test, and synoptic machine test.
Strabismus examination can be divided into two categories: qualitative and quantitative.
Keratoconus examination, cover-to-cover test, alternate cover test, etc. are qualitative tests to determine whether the patient has strabismus and the type of strabismus, such as esotropia, exotropia, and vertical strabismus.
Trigonometry, synoptics, etc. are quantitative tests to determine the exact amount of strabismus in the patient so that the amount of correction during surgery can be calculated.
Patients with strabismus should go to the ophthalmology department of the hospital in time for examination, and the doctor will evaluate the condition and formulate an individualized treatment plan for the patient.
