When is the best time to take albendazole granules

  There is no strict time standard for taking albendazole pellets by mouth, but it is generally recommended to be taken on an empty or semi-empty stomach for better results in clinical practice.  Albendazole granules are a broad-spectrum anthelmintic, also known as intestinal wormer tablets. Its main pharmacological effect is to inhibit the absorption of glucose by the parasites after metabolism, so that the parasites are deprived of nutrition and die. Generally, children under 2 years old and adults with simple roundworms, tapeworms and pinworms can be dewormed with albendazole granules. Albendazole granules can be taken on an empty or semi-empty stomach for better results. During the period of taking the medicine, avoid eating too greasy and spicy stimulating food. Some patients may experience slight dizziness, headache, nausea and other discomforts after taking the medicine, which do not require special treatment and will be relieved after a period of time.
