How pinworms are caused

Pinworm disease is a parasitic disease of the intestinal tract, and is also an infectious disease. It is mainly transmitted through the digestive tract, and is usually contracted by pinworm eggs through the hands, that is, the hands are not washed clean, through the hands from the anus and then to the mouth, which is a type of self-infection. This is the first type of infection, also known as direct infection. There is also indirect infection, which is generally through household items, such as towels, water cups, and other household items, contaminated food, and then food eaten and infected, which is indirect infection. It can also be contracted through the respiratory tract, where the eggs of pinworms float in the air and are inhaled through the nose and mouth and then swallowed. There is also retrograde infection, which means that the eggs hatch around the anus and the larvae enter the intestine retrogradely from the anus and cause infection. Therefore, there are many ways of infection: first, direct infection; second, indirect infection; third, infection through the respiratory tract; fourth, also through retrograde infection.
