Stale ground-glass nodules left behind by pulmonary tuberculosis are a kind of stale lesions, which do not need to be treated if active tuberculosis is excluded, and if active tuberculosis is found, standardized anti-tuberculosis treatment is needed. Clinical imaging examination found lung nodules presenting old ground glass-like, past history of tuberculosis, need to be based on the morphology of the nodule and the patient’s sputum examination to determine the existence of active tuberculosis, sputum culture did not find tubercle bacilli, the patient does not exist in the toxic symptoms of tuberculosis disease, suggesting that the tuberculosis has been cured, at this time the need for regular re-examination can be, do not need to carry out special treatments. If active tuberculosis is found, standardized anti-tuberculosis treatment is needed, with the principle of “early, regular, whole course, combined and appropriate amount”. For the old grinding glass-like changes caused by pulmonary nodules, it is recommended to consult the respiratory medicine department of regular hospitals in time, and under the guidance of physicians, carry out sputum smears, chest CT and other further examinations to clarify whether there is active tuberculosis.
