How to tell if you’re Crohn’s.

Determining whether you have Crohn’s can be done in terms of symptoms, fecal occult blood test, endoscopy and pathology biopsy. 1. Symptoms: Crohn’s disease mainly has symptoms such as abdominal pain and diarrhea, accompanied by other symptoms such as fever, malnutrition and weight loss. 2. Fecal occult blood test: Crohn’s disease will have the symptom of blood in the stool with or without the naked eye, which needs to be tested by fecal occult blood test to see if there is blood in the stool. 3. Endoscopy and pathologic biopsy: This test is an important diagnostic basis for diagnosing Crohn’s disease. It is possible to observe endoscopically a lesion involving the ileocecum and the neighboring right side of the colon, or even the whole layer of the intestinal wall. The lesion shows a segmental distribution with a longitudinal surface covered with thick white moss, which can be severe and fissure-like, with narrowing of the intestinal lumen. To determine whether you are Crohn’s or not, it is recommended to seek medical attention in a timely manner, under the guidance of a doctor, taking into account the characteristics of the medical history, and the results of other tests.
