What causes thigh swelling and pain

For thigh swelling pain, this is more common in clinical practice and the most common cause is due to trauma. When local trauma occurs, local soft tissue injury or fracture, it will show swelling and pain in the thigh. This is usually easy to diagnose. If the pain is obvious, an X-ray can be taken to examine it. There is also thrombosis of the lower extremity, and poor local circulation can also manifest as obvious swelling and pain. If it is caused by trauma, first rule out any fracture. In the absence of fracture, it is enough to pay attention to rest. You can elevate the affected limb appropriately, and the pain will subside slowly. If it is caused by thrombosis, ultrasound examination should be performed on the lower limb, mainly to look at the blood vessels. After the diagnosis is clear, treatment should be carried out for the cause, so that obvious results can be achieved.
