Immunopneumonia Symptoms and Manifestations

Immunopneumonia is caused by autoimmune disease or due to the use of immune-related drugs caused by pneumonia, patients may have cough, fever, chest pain, chest tightness and other symptoms. Immunopneumonia is due to the patient’s own immune system defects, resulting in impaired defense function, pathogens invade the body, resulting in lung infection, or because of some autoimmune diseases, autoantibodies on the lungs caused by damage, but also because of the use of autoimmune drugs caused by pneumonia. Patients with immune pneumonia may present with clinical manifestations such as cough, chest tightness, chest pain, and high fever. As the pneumonia progresses, the patient’s lung function will gradually decline, which can lead to respiratory failure. Pathogens into the blood can lead to the occurrence of bacteremia and sepsis. Immunopneumonia needs to be diagnosed based on the combination of patient history, clinical manifestations, immune function tests, imaging, laboratory tests and so on. Immunopneumonia can be treated with glucocorticoids, immunologic agents, biologic agents, immunoglobulins, etc. depending on the condition. If the microbial infection is caused by immunodeficiency, anti-infection treatment should be carried out according to the characteristics of the pathogenic bacteria. Immunopneumonia patients need to consult a doctor in a timely manner, complete the relevant laboratory tests and comprehensive assessment, and follow the doctor’s instructions for reasonable and standardized treatment.
