In addition, if the patient eats cold drinks, cold and dampness can become heat in the spleen and stomach, which can also cause acne. 3. Wet environment: Some patients live in wet places for a long time, there is internal and external wetness, and dampness becomes heat in the skin and forms acne on the chin. TCM treatment of the above symptoms requires typing. Patients with kidney deficiency and damp-heat predominantly need to be treated with Zhi Bai Di Huang Tang plus or minus. Patients with more obvious diet-related problems need to be treated with Han Xia Di Xin Tang plus or minus, while cold and dampness with qi stagnation makes premenstrual acne prone, and should be treated with drugs that de-stress the liver and warm the yang, such as Chai Hu Gui Zhi Tang plus or minus.
