Treatment of reflux esophagitis

Reflux esophagitis may be related to a variety of factors, such as congenital factors, medication factors, impaired esophageal dynamics, etc. Treatment includes medication, endoscopic treatment, and surgery if necessary.
1. Medication: Omeprazole, rabeprazole and other medications can be applied to reduce gastric acid secretion and prevent aggravation of esophageal injury, together with the use of domperidone, mosapride and other medications, to alleviate the symptoms, improve the esophageal peristalsis function and promote gastric emptying.
2. Endoscopic treatment: If medication fails to improve the symptoms, endoscopic treatment can be considered, such as endoscopic portosystemic ligation, which can relieve the symptoms of reflux and promote recovery.
3. Surgical treatment: For severe cases of reflux esophagitis, surgical treatment, such as anti-reflux surgery or laparoscopic fundoplication, can also be performed.
In the course of treatment, it is important to follow the doctor’s instructions and use medication appropriately.
