The easiest way to see if a fracture has grown on an x-ray is to compare the review x-ray with the previous x-ray, which shows the fracture line and fracture site, as well as the degree of fracture fragmentation. If the review x-ray reaches a certain level, it will show bone growth. You can see that the new x-ray produces a white flocculent-like image on the site of the original fracture line, which is the image of bone scab growth. You can compare the previous X-ray with the current one to find out what is different: firstly, there is a possibility that the fracture is displaced; secondly, it is most likely that a new bone scab has grown.
