Schizophrenia is a group of diseases of unknown etiology and is one of the common severe psychiatric disorders. The results of a sample survey in Beijing in 1991 suggest that the overall prevalence of the disease is 7.20‰. The prevalence of the disease mainly impairs the perceptual activities, thinking activities, emotional activities, volitional behavioral activities, cognitive functions, social functions and other aspects, and in the long term, it also produces personality changes. Early manifestations of the disease include abnormal personality, retardation, coldness, distancing from others, dullness, lazy life, self-speaking and laughing, lack of enthusiasm for work, poor discipline, and unexplained temper tantrums. To achieve the “three early principles”, that is, early detection, in the diagnosis, early treatment.
