Minimally invasive dental implants are a form of dental implant that has the greatest advantage of minimizing trauma and can cause minimal discomfort to the patient. Preoperatively, an oral CT is taken to assess the patient’s bone quality and select the appropriate type of implant. During surgery, a very small incision, such as a 3-4 mm gingival incision, is made and the implant is passively screwed into the alveolar bone within the incision. This type of implant gives the patient the best implant experience compared to traditional implantology. A temporary crown can also be created after surgery, allowing patients to wear their teeth the same day as the implant.
