Ginseng and Su Pill contains Codonopsis pilosula, Perilla frutescens, Pueraria lobata, Radix et Rhizoma Pinelliae, Poria, Semen Armeniacae (made), Pericarpium Citri Reticulatae, Citrus aurantium Citri Reticulatae (fried), Platycodon grandiflorum, Radix Mucilaginis, Radix et Rhizoma Glycyrrhizae Praeparatae, Radix et Rhizoma Gingerae and Jujube.
It is beneficial to Qi and relieves the symptoms, expels phlegm and relieves cough. It is mainly used for treating cold and flu caused by weakness and wind-cold, with symptoms such as malignant cold (fear of cold), fever, headache and nasal congestion, cough and phlegm, chest tightness and vomiting, and fatigue and shortness of breath. When taking the medicine, it is necessary to avoid smoking, alcohol, spicy, cold and greasy food, and should not take tonic Chinese medicine at the same time. It should not be used for wind-heat colds, and the adverse effects are not clear.
Yupingfeng Granules is composed of Astragalus, Fenghuang, Atractylodes Macrocephala.
It has the effects of benefiting qi, consolidating the surface and stopping sweating. It is used for those who have deficiency of the surface (the weakness of the muscle surface leads to abnormal sweating), spontaneous sweating (involuntary sweating during the daytime, aggravated by sweating with slight movement), bad wind, whiteness of the face (whiteness and lack of luster), or those who are weak and easily susceptible to wind evils. Avoid greasy food during the period of taking the medicine, preferably before meals, contraindications, adverse reactions are not yet clear.
