What should I do if the bone in my thigh is not growing?

Patient: Description (onset time, main symptoms, hospital, etc.): Hello, doctor, I have been operated on for more than 8 months for a thigh fracture, but when I took a picture, the bone did not grow, and the doctor recommended a second operation. I’ve had surgery, but the results are too poor. Please give me a treatment method. Generally speaking, if the fracture does not heal 3 months after surgery, it is called delayed fracture healing; if the fracture still does not heal after 3-6 months of continued treatment and observation, it is called non-healing fracture. I don’t know if your fracture is not growing at all (that is, there is a gap between the fracture ends or even an obvious fracture end resorption separation), or if it is partially growing but not fully healed. If it is the first case, then you need to remove the original internal fixation and refix it with bone graft. If it is the second case and the extent of fracture unconnected healing is less and the internal fixation has not failed, the treatment can be continued under observation; however, if the internal fixation has failed or the extent of bone unconnected is larger, it is recommended to refer to the first case and perform re-internal fixation with bone grafting. It is better to upload the film to see.
