Is there a best way to get rid of dampness

There is no such thing as “the best way to get rid of dampness”. Clinically, it can be treated by taking Ping Gastric San, Bazheng San or Fangji Huangqi Tang with additions and subtractions according to the diagnosis. However, due to the differences in individual physique and condition, the efficacy of treatment varies from person to person and cannot be generalized.
Dispelling dampness is the basic principle of treating dampness attacking the body. Dampness blocks the body’s qi and yang, resulting in symptoms such as drowsiness in the head and body, tiredness in the limbs, and joint pain and heaviness. According to the different identification, it can dissolve dampness and harmonize the stomach, clear away heat and dampness, or warm and dissolve cold and dampness.
Flat Stomach San can dry dampness, transport the spleen, move qi and harmonize the stomach, and can treat conditions such as distension and fullness of the stomach and abdomen (gastric and abdominal distension and fullness of the stomach and abdomen) caused by stagnation of dampness in the spleen and stomach (stagnation of dampness in the spleen and stomach), inappetence, and insipidity and insipidness of the mouth. This formula should not be used by those with insufficient Yin and fluid or weak spleen and stomach, and pregnant women.
Bazheng San can clear heat and fire, diuretic and diaphoretic, and can treat frequent urination and dysuria caused by dampness-heat underflow (dampness and heat invading the intestines, bladder, pubic region and lower limbs, etc.).
Fangji Huangqi Tang can benefit Qi, dispel wind, strengthen the spleen and promote diuresis, and can treat rheumatism and wind-water (sudden edema of the head, face and limbs) belonging to the superficial deficiency, manifesting as sweating and malignant wind, and dysuria (unruly urination).
If there is any discomfort, it is recommended to consult a professional physician for diagnosis and treatment in order to avoid delaying the condition. Chinese medicine should be applied accurately under the guidance of a professional physician’s diagnosis, and should not be taken on its own to avoid adverse consequences.
