Can babies with cerebral palsy roll over and grasp?

Babies with cerebral palsy may be able to roll over and grasp objects, usually in children with milder conditions. For babies with very severe cerebral palsy, there will be varying degrees of motor deficits and abnormal muscle tone, so rolling over and grasping objects is more difficult. Cerebral palsy, also known as cerebral palsy, is a non-progressive brain injury that occurs in babies from before birth to one month after birth due to various reasons. The main manifestation of cerebral palsy is motor dysfunction, which is often accompanied by mental retardation, speech disorders, mental behavioral abnormalities and seizures. Therefore, babies with cerebral palsy will have different degrees of developmental delay. However, the fact that the child cannot roll over and grasp objects does not necessarily mean that the child has cerebral palsy. It is recommended to take your child to the child health department of the hospital for a physical examination to clarify whether your baby has cerebral palsy.
