Patients presenting with soft brain foci may be asymptomatic, and in severe cases may present with cranial nerve dysfunction, aphasia, and limb motor and sensory dysfunction. Cerebral soft foci are usually caused by old cerebral infarction, cerebral hemorrhage and other diseases, and CT suggests that there are cerebral soft foci. Patients with small soft brain foci may not have symptoms, while those with large area may have a series of symptoms. 1. Cranial nerve dysfunction: Depending on the location of the soft brain foci, different cranial nerve dysfunctions will occur, manifesting as vision loss, hearing loss, eye movement dysfunction, diplopia, eyelid ptosis, chewing disorder, choking on drinking water, swallowing dysfunction and so on. 2. Aphasia: brain softening foci may cause motor aphasia, sensory aphasia, etc., which is manifested by poor speech or not understanding oneself and others. 3. Motor and sensory dysfunction: manifested as unilateral limb paralysis or paraplegia, paraplegia motor dysfunction, paraplegia sensory dysfunction and so on.
