Urine routine PH value

The pH of urine, or acidity, usually fluctuates between 4.5 and 8.0, and most normal fresh urine is weakly acidic, fluctuating between about 5 and 6. If the pH value of urine fluctuates within this range, it is normal. Changes in urine pH can occur in the state of disease or when taking medication. Patients with acidosis, fever, diabetes, gout, etc., and patients who consume large amounts of meat, for example, can experience a decrease in urine PH. The presence of alkalosis, or the presence of cystitis, nausea, vomiting or the consumption of more vegetables, etc., can show an increase in the PH value of urine. If the PH of urine fluctuates within the normal range and the patient does not have any symptoms of discomfort in urination, no treatment is needed and no medication is required. However, if there are symptoms associated with it, such as frequent and urgent urination, a routine urine examination is recommended and medication is used to intervene if necessary.
