Mastocytosis is one of the most common and prevalent diseases in women, mostly seen in women aged 25 to 45 years old, and is essentially a disorder of the normal structure of the breast caused by physiological hyperplasia and incomplete regeneration. The World Health Organization (WHO) collectively calls it “benign breast dysplasia”. The etiology of this disease is not well understood. It is thought to be related to endocrine disorders and psychological factors, and the relative increase in estrogen is an important cause of this disease. There are three types of mastocytosis, namely breast pain, breast adenopathy and cystic hyperplasia, with prominent manifestations of breast pain and breast lumps. 1. Breast distention and pain: It is common to have unilateral or bilateral breast distention and pain or tenderness. The duration of the disease varies from several months to several years, and most patients are characterized by cyclic pain, which occurs or worsens in the premenstrual period and decreases or disappears after menstruation. It must be noted that although the periodicity of breast pain is typical of the disease, the lack of this feature does not negate the existence of the lesion. 2, breast lumps: often multiple, unilateral or bilateral, mostly in the upper quadrant; and the size and texture often change periodically with menstruation, with the lumps increasing in size and hardness in the premenstrual period and shrinking in size and hardness after menstruation. The lumps are nodular in shape, varying in size, with unclear boundaries with the surrounding tissues, mostly painful to the touch, with no adhesions to the skin and deep tissues, and can be pushed, and the axillary lymph nodes are not enlarged. When it comes to mastocytosis, most women often ask the following questions: First, can mastocytosis turn into cancer? The vast majority of mastocytosis will not become cancerous, only a very small number of atypical mastocytosis may turn into breast cancer, accounting for about 3-6%. Therefore, there is no need to worry too much. As long as you go to a breast specialist for regular checkups, you can prevent and treat breast cancer at an early stage. Another question is: Can breast hyperplasia be prevented? The causes of mastocytosis are due to endocrine dysfunction caused by various internal and external factors, and as long as these causes are eliminated, the occurrence of mastocytosis can be reduced. The number of unplanned pregnancies and abortions can be reduced to prevent mastopathy at a young age; women who do not have children are also prone to early onset of mastopathy. Breastfeeding has many benefits for the mammary glands, more breastfeeding makes the mammary glands fully developed, and after weaning the mammary glands degenerate better and are less likely to suffer from mastocytosis, and even if they do, they are lighter and easier to treat. Mental tension, sadness, lack of energy at work, and overwork are also important factors that affect the endocrine system and can easily cause mastocytosis as a result. Since these factors are often accompanied by modern social life, especially in the intellectual world, some people call mastocytosis a “modern disease”. Keeping a happy, optimistic and healthy mind, combining work and rest and facing life positively in modern society will help endocrine balance and reduce the occurrence of mastocytosis. In terms of diet, it is not advisable to take too many supplements, to eat more vegetables and fruits, to eat less animal fat, and not to take medicines with hormones without the guidance of a doctor, all of which are conducive to the prevention and treatment of mastocytosis. In menopausal women, it is even more important not to use these supplements to change the current situation of declining estrogen levels. How is mastocytosis treated? First of all, before treatment, go to a hospital where you can get an ultrasound or X-ray mammogram. If there are solid lumps or calcified spots in the breast, and tumors cannot be ruled out, surgery should be taken, otherwise the condition will be mis-treated and delayed. If you have no such condition, you can take life conditioning and medication, life conditioning has been described earlier, medication must be carried out under the guidance of a doctor, breast pain and lobular hyperplasia are both early stages of breast hyperplasia, the treatment effect is better, available breast health tablets and breast enhancement Ning and other Chinese medicine oral treatment, its side effects are small, is the current treatment effect of the better drugs, western medicine triamcinolone and phalloidin is also very good, but there are some small side effects, generally does not affect the treatment. The side effects are generally not affected by the treatment. During the treatment period, pay attention to life conditioning, drug treatment time is generally 3 months, with the age of some breast hyperplasia will improve on its own, there are a few patients will recur, but generally not very heavy. Mammary gland adenopathy without symptoms does not need to be treated, regular follow-up is sufficient. Mammary gland hyperplasia is not as scary as you think. To eliminate the wrong view that mammary gland hyperplasia is equal to breast cancer, treatment is only an auxiliary means to prevent and treat mammary gland hyperplasia, and regular breast examination is the key to prevent and cure cancer.
